I'll take the 82 Pace Car for all the above!!

In a few years, the resale value of the 89 IROC won't hold a candle to the Pace Car....will the 82 have the same performance?....NO.

But the 70's Corvette Pace car editions were lousy performers and get top dollar.

I once saw a 87-92 camaro convertible turned into a 82 pace car clone. Was a very nice car had correct interior and bumpers and paint scheme

 

Can't I have both? Pace car to park for value. Iroc for looks and to drive for fun.

 

89 Iroc hands down you turn the key and that 5.7 TPI fires right up, with those crossfires its like a crap shoot whether those turds will start in the morning or not. And driving an iroc is like eating a Subway coldcut sandwich on a hot summer day with a bag of miss vickies chips, no better feeling. So yeah i vote for the 82 turdfire.

Stay away from the cross-fire pace cars. Having said that, spent my teenager years bombing around in an carbed version and boy was it fun! The interiors in the pace cars were pretty cool too.
