Stock 85' z28 engine bay

hi, i am doing an engine swap on my 85 z28, or at least i will be as soon as the snow melts. i was wondering if anyone has a pic of an unmolested lg4 engine bay because i want to make it look as original as possible when i swap in my 406 just to keep it looking kinda like a sleeper under the hood minus a set of headers left hand dipstick and a air cleaner any help would be greatly appreciated

Since your going with a 406 I'd also recommend an early (82?) Chevy 350ci truck carb air cleaner lid on the HO air cleaner. It's taller than the 305 lid so you can use a bigger air filter.... ( can't remember where I got the 5.7 decal,... probably E-Bay )

WIth that hood, I would try to make a plenum to capture the air from the hood... Enough holes in it...

I couldn't now if I wanted to. I re-built the underside of the hood by screening the holes & I installed rain guards,.....

Besides; this pic is old; That Gear-drive 355ci is on an engine stand & I've converted to LT1 !!
