I don't know a thing about these...other than they're pretty rare. It says it has a 350 with camel hump heads, so I'm assuming it's a different engine or maybe MSE modded them? It's a 4 speed car with 49k miles and they want $5,500. I have no idea if this is a decent deal or not

The 350 in thecar may be original to the MSE conversion-IIRC,MSE swapped 350s in place of 305s-aparently specialty shops could still do that back in the early 1980s and fly under EPA radar Be interesting to know more details on the 350s MSE installed-a good situation would be them buying new GM shortblocks, cleaning and checking those and then bolting on the "hot-rod"parts Really cool early third, and if it was close to me I would have a look!

I like the fact MSE put 350s in their cars but that wing would have to come off day #1. Worse than the wing on the 91-92 Z28s.

You may not like the looks of it, but the MSE spoiler was actually functional. Kind of like the huge spoiler on 1970 Plymouth Superbirds and 1969 Dodge Charger Daytonas.
From Mecham’s website:
According to GM Wind Tunnel Engineers who tested the wing to "prove" our design, the part is "very efficient making high down force numbers without adding significant drag".

Yeah, that wing looks like it could be a older brother to the 85-90 aero wing

I Don't imagine the down force deal on that ugly piece has no bearing on driving a car under normal circumstances at any normal speed lol.

Clue us in on what your machine is. Seems like MSE had been floated around here, but not often.

This is the car from above. It has a non original 350 with double hump heads ,headers and 1406 carb. The interior is original but will be replace with new . Paint is bad and so it will be painted. Only rust on the car is battery holder. I bought the car due to it being a numbered car and has a 4 speed and a/c as I live in Fllorida.
