I'm almost positive the RS was for sale by a member here 3 or 4 years ago for around 7 or 8K.

Re: Two Teal 'Verts. L03 stick vs LB9 auto.

I've got one of those... The five speed would sure be nice, but that's really top dollar for an RS convertible. I've been watching a little to see if they ever start going up, and they often sell for a lot less. The asking prices are usually a lot less. If they were actually selling for $12.5k, mine wouldn't be perpetually blocked into the far side of my garage, it'd be long gone.

The correct answer is the Z28 convertible. It's a 5.7L. Says so right on the bumper cover.

Re: Two Teal 'Verts. L03 stick vs LB9 auto.

I am suspect of the Z vert - even with the mileage on the car, the price is low for a stock 92 Z vert, especially from a used car dealer
and one of the the red flags is what drew pointed out - why the 5.7 emblem on the rear bumper ??

Probably just an artifact from when a $20 emblem could let you flex the 5.0 at the next stop light.

That RS is sharp. -and would be a great car to enjoy and drive. Just not at that price.

Re: Two Teal 'Verts. L03 stick vs LB9 auto.

Now wondering if I’d remove the emblem or leave it be and roll 350 poser.
....yep...have to go. Eventually.
