88 Black IROC 5-speed
So this car would be interesting to me as a more daily driver IROC but they have it priced in the more weekend/show cruiser range..
https://www.empireexoticmotors.com/u...3308203640.htm
-Its clearly a 5.0 with a 5.7 sticker
-repaint
-spiderwebbed front end
-replaced gauges
-1990 steering wheel
-wrong center caps
-wheels look a little beat
-interior is a little beat
-I call BS on “40-ish thousand miles”
-exhaust looks horrendous
I’d maybe offer $7-$8k depending how it is in person..

Re: 88 Black IROC 5-speed
This one doesn't strike me as an honest car, it seems pieced to together.

Re: 88 Black IROC 5-speed
Let me count some things really quick
1) it is a 1988
2) it has a 90-92 Airbag
3) it has aftermarket gages.
4) The seats do not look quite right, they look like a 2 bit upholsterer did them, wrinkles in the side bolsters etc.
5) The shift **** is not correct.
6) The blue hoses are a turn off for me...
It looks ok, but looks like a mess all at the same time. I am with chazman...

I was just chuckling at the same thing, lol! You shouldn't have to pay $17k for an "okay" car then have to put money into it to make it all original like the ad states it to be. Would be a great daily driver but there's no way it could be worth that kind of money...

Re: 88 Black IROC 5-speed
Definitely. People really think these cars are made of gold. I have some one near me selling a beat up 84 T/A with a trashed interior, trashed exterior, looks like a rust bucket but supposedly has a crate 350 (even though the car doesn't look like it's moved in 10 years) for $2500. I was about to message the seller thinking it was more about $500 and it might be an okay parts car... but nope. Barely had any good parts on it anyways Good luck finding something, it's really aggravating trying to find a decent third gen for the right price.

Poor car. It looks sad, like there is a tear running down it's hood from the right scoop.

You could probably resell that steering wheel for good money. Funny that a non-airbag car has an airbag steering wheel put in it that's in decent condition considering how badly the 90-92 wheels age.

It is hard to tell but it looks like the clutch pedal pad/cover is missing.
I wonder why the mileage was not listed when the new title was issued in 2005 and then it shows up in 2011 with 38,515 miles?
