History / OriginalityGot a question about 1982-1992 Camaro or Firebird history? Have a question about original parts, options, RPO codes, when something was available, or how to document your car? Those questions, answers, and much more!
Yep, it is. It is showing the LB9 and the 5 speed as a credit. So it's the Y84 GTA option, with a credit for the 305 and 5 speed, since the $2,700 GTA option includes the 5.7 and auto. So the $780 basically comes off of that price

Re: OK, This has to be a rare GTA
What would make that car more rare is if it had the paddle mirrors. Is it interesting? Yeah, sure, Do I want to buy it? No. What would make me want to buy it? If it was a cool color like Yellow.

I follow a guy on Instagram who has a brown GTA and though his is a bit of a basket case, I actually kinda like the colour. Mind you I have a green GTA and everyone seems to dislike the colour, but hey to each their own I guess.

Hey! I like the green. Funny how we all like different things.
Everyone is wired a little different. I like the coffee brown. I had a white Formula and think the one up for COTM is really nice; I think white is one of the best 3rd gen colors.
And, I had a green/tan '98 Trans Am convertible. I think a polo green or British racing green is a color that always should be offered on Camaros, Firebirds, and Corvettes.
I like the green with the beechwood. I also like white thirdgens I ran one a long time. Some folks may like brown , most don't but hey to each his own.

If I could pick any color that was offered, it would be the green/beechwood.
Greens overall are not popular. I don't get that.
My '98 Trans Am was called "bright green metallic." It was nice, with tan leather. But it actually was a brighter shade of green than I would have preferred. When I traded that car, it sat on the dealer lot for months. They said that the color made it difficult to sell.
If it's a rich brown, yeah. If it's UPS brown, no. I can't imagine any 80's paint looking rich after the third year or so.
Apolo Ohno had a Cadillac done in brown with a white leather interior - gorgeous.

Browns are kind of funny to me... I can look at a weathered Red, black, silver or Yellow and still appreciate what it is, A new car or a fresh paint in Brown looks good, but as soon as it gets some weather it really does not nearly have the appeal as most other colors.
