There are no records kept of combinations like that. The only thing I can tell u is that there were 5,490 91 Formulas.

Sounds interesting... is it a 91 or a 92? I haven't heard of the TTops being available in 91 with the L98, only 92. If you have the VIN and the SPID (rpo sheet) it'd be handy to determine if its an OEM combination or something someone modified after the fact.

The SPID sheet lists CC1, L98, WS6, G92, and confirms that it had a drum brake rear standard.

COFormula,
Do you realize that in your sig that you state
I imagine you do, but 5280 feet is a mile, If you run a mile in less than 13 seconds, your car must fly ... literally.
60 mph = 1 min on the highway

Mind taking a clear picture of the SPID so we have visual proof that your combination was built in 91? The only ones that have been proven to date are 92's. The debate about L98 and CC1 after 1990 on anything has been an issue here since day one. Each time someone proves that thier car really exists the closer we get to documenting the truth.
BTW okfoz, I think he was refering to elevation.

that WOULD make more sence...
thanks

My Camera is too ****ty to get a clear pic of the codes. I either have to have it far enough back to get it focused, and then you can't read them, or close enough to read them, and it doesn't focus.
But instead of having me jump through all these hoops, and insinuating that I am a liar, maybe you should stop for one second and think about what I said. I am familiar with these cars, and once again, the SPID has CC1, L98/B2L, and WS6, and it is a 1991. I'm not some guy arguing that his C&C's are factory, and that a friend of my friend used to have an L98 5 speed, or that my RS Convertible is clean and rare and worth 10 grand. I checked the RPO's out before I bought the car, to make damn sure it was an L98.
The only thing that threw me was the drum brake rearend, but I've found several other 91 L98's with this, due to a disc brake shortage. This excludes it from being a 1992.
Considering the car ran a 15.1 stock at 5800 feet ( before applying the ~1 second alt correction) I would love for somebody to argue that it is a 305, especially with the 5000 ropm yellow/5500 rpm redline on an auto, the Oil cooler, 3.23 original rear end gears, 5.7L FI badge on hood, 5.7L emissions sticker underhood, the 8 in the VIN, and the black GTA wheels that come bundled with T-tops.
Oh, and here's a picture of the 1991 Firebird Formula 350 CC1 that doesn't exist.

If you had taken the time to read what I said, you'd see that I wasn't insinuating anything other than the fact thats its not a documented combination. Since you want to be a ******** and make the issue personal, you're not welcome here.
