Don't know if this the appropriate place to post these, so I guessed.
I spend my spare time surfing the same old sites looking for cars; even if I don't have any intention of buying more (nor will the wife appreciate the additions to the driveway) cars/trucks. I like to browse. Who doesn't? So, with that in mind, if figured I would create a thread and post what I find. None of these cars are my, nor am I in no way involved in any way in the sale of these cars.
This is just a thread to share the 3rd gens I find, that need a new home.

Looks to be a pretty clean survivor. Not crazy about the aftermarket pin stripes; yet each to their own.
Looks to be a pretty clean under carriage. Bonus points for what looks like the factory exhaust as well.

Seller did the RPO codes (SPID) too.

Very clean under neath; I wonder if that is the factory muffler?

 

Both nice cars. I love it when even the radio/cassette player is original since that is always the first item trashed by a "modder".

I thought all the underside were originally gray? That second one looks body color.

 

They usually do have color to them as they run down the paint line and get sprayed at the rocker arms. If the trans tunnel is body color, you should question a repaint, but the factory floor pans are usually a thin coat of body color.

This is my favorite - I test drove one as I was graduating high school. Same color, but not the 350... Couldn't afford it, nor the insurance payments!



$17500 takes this one home! I would love to have this bird (even though I have always been a Camaro fan).

 

This is down the road from me. I saw this listing yesterday. If anyone's interested and needs an inspection on this, I can do it for them.

Base vinyl seats. I have not seen too many IROCs with that option. Do you all think it is actually a 3400 mile car?

 

I don't find it believable that someone would buy it new, park it outside, and only put 3,400 miles on it. Need better explanation from the seller.

Here is somewhat of a local car to me (DFW Area).



Interior looks presentable. Maybe a good cleaning? Hard to tell about the paint condition; but the stripe kit is in place. Hard top model. Affordable price IMO.

Those look like early 4th Gen seats to me. Did 3rd Gens ever have seats like those? What is the 4th button on the console?

I've never seen those door panels either...

 

I didn't notice the switch. Looks to be the rear wiper switch after a quick search. I was thinking the same thing on the seats, but the front seems to match the rear seat (the perforations). For me, I am so used to seeing fully equipped cars now, but I seem to remember back in the day a lot of these cars did come with the base vinyl, or the step-up base cloth seats. The door panels are odd/ but maybe a one year only design?

 

I live very close to South Arlington. If someone is interested I could pop by and check it out.

Love this one. My first Firebird was a 1990 white Formula, though not a 350. Still my all=time favorite car among those that I've owned. Racked up a ton of miles on that one.

 

That picture looks like a somewhat bronze color, but the other pics on the site look like Flame Red, which was a pretty common color for GTAs (including mine).
