electric hatch pull down assembly (1992)
I have a couple of these for sale, I think 2 or 3 of them. They're specific to 1992, believe me I checked to see if they'd work on any of my 3 cars and it won't otherwise I'd be using them. They're a lot more sturdy and well built than the older versions.
$110 each, shipped anywhere in the US. If you need it shipped internationally I'll have to get you a shipping quote first.

The pictures I think are sideways. Go ahead and take a look at yours, if it's a 1992 it should be identical as this one because it's a 1992 specific part. It's much smaller than the older ones. I have I think three of them and they're all from 92's.

I was expecting to see some type of "ramp" on the back that would unlatch the hatch after the motor comes up if you have the remote hatch release. I don't want to hyjack this thread though.

I have no idea what kind of ramp you're thinking of, but this is in fact a 1992 fbody hatch pull down unit, and I have two of them for sale.

I believe they change the hatch pull down in the middle of 1991, I learned that the hard way

I was talking about that piece. If you look at the back of your pulldown, you can see the two screws holding that piece on.
I made my own though and it works.

He's talking about if you look down the travel of the latch, if you look on the back mounting bracket, cars with electric hatch poppers had a plastic piece attached to the back mounting bracket (again seen when looking straight down the latch), and it would catch the little pin in the there and pivot it to unlatch the hatch.
