Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
I'll be available today between 2 and 5 PM central time. I'm working on a few harnesses during that time so that would be the ideal time to call and I can walk through the install-it won't take you long! 515-979-4038 is my contact #.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
For future guys installing my express down window kit, here are a few pics showing the only things you'll need to do in order to have dual express (auto, one touch) down windows using your factory switches-and remember, there is NO cutting or splicing so you can easily integrate this kit into the stock console wiring without butchering anything up! I'll post 1 pic at a time and explain as I go:
First, here is my basic dual window express down window kit as you'll receive it.....there is a 4-gang relay bank and (2) solid state modules.

Now, here is the chassis ground for the relay bank-this can be grounded at the same spot as the two black wires that come from your OEM window switches-the black leads @ the switches won't be needed for this mod but you can ground my relay bank at the same spot....

Next, remove (DONT CUT!) the dark blue, light blue, brown, tan and both pinks from your OEM switch connectors and replace them with these leads-do one at a time to maintain the proper color orientation in the connector and omit both black wires-they won't be needed....you can leave them hanging or wrap them out of the way.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Now that you've replaced your window switch leads, take the leads you removed originally and using the supplied 6-cavity connector, pop them into it and mate it to the white male connector. This completes the install!! Its almost magic its so simple! Test out window operation-you will be able to have them go down automatically with only a quick touch and tapping the switch again either down or up will stop the window travel wherever you see fit. For those who want even more auto features, I can also supply this harness with auto up as well.
Hopefully this will serve to aid you during your install! The actual electrical schematic of it all was a pita but once I got it all figured out, I built it as simple for anybody to install as I possibly could. Thanks to those who have already purchased a kit from me and I hope to have these ready to order for years to come!!

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
I PM'd the USPS tracking # for your kit. Here's a pic of your dual window/express up AND down kit-the solid state modules have enough length to fit behind your radio pod in the dash. With (4) modules this should make it easier to install the rest in the console. Let me know how it works out for you! Thanks for your order Luis!! Be sure to follow the install instructions from this thread which I've updated for everyone-its very simple to follow.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
For those who would rather install a professional relay upgrade kit instead of a jumbled mess of crimped wires and be supplied with high quality relays-then here you go. All connections are crimped/soldered/heatshrinked where needed and replaces your existing window switch connectors. PM for questions or more info-I have 8 kits made up and I'm asking $69/set. All wiring is also j1128 spec which means its rated up to 257F and the relays are TYCO rated at 250,000 switching cycles so yes-these are not your average parts store automotive Chinese relays either.

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Disappointed in the quality of work. I don't understand why some of the connections were wrapped in tape, especially the style of tape & wrapping procedure that was used...
If for some reason Heat-Shrink Tubing was not utilized, the connections should have been properly wrapped. Emphasis on proper; as I've never wrapped anything using tape horizontally.
Am I incorrect?
I also would have used wire loom for the entire length of the wires versus wire loom and tape. It's more work and it just doesn't make sense.

Anywho, as I suggested, I'm sending you a replacement with a return label-simply box up that one and send it back-I'llnuse it as an example of "DO NOT do this!" lol thanks!

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
I sent formula1LE a message the very same day I received my order, Jan. 19th 2016.
Here is the Message,
No Subject
Hey I noticed some of the connections were wrapped in tape instead of being shrink wrapped,
***I did not receive a reply.***
I Forwarded the same message back to to formula1LE on Feb. 15th 2016

Maybe you missed my first message but after a couple weeks the tape you used has come updone... I'm glad I didn't install it as is. I will rewrap, with the proper tape
On the 15th of Feb. I vented my frustration on this thread, see post #223.
***Formula1LE is shipping out a replacement*** (see post #228)
I'm not entirely happy with the situation but I am 100% satisfied by how formula1LE has remedied the problem.
Thank You

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Formula1LE, I realize that you may have your hands full right now, but after seeing the image I wanted to suggest offsetting (or staggering) the connections. It is often used in the industry to reduce bulk, but is also a good idea to avoid the possibility of shorts even if the tape, or shrink wrap is compromised.

Yes they are still available. I've resolved the issue with the shop guys not following my procedure for building these express down kits exactly as I've outlined so that's a non issue now IMO. I'll PM ya my info!

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
$146 shipped on an express down kit. Let me know (some guys with manuals prefer the relay bank be behind the radio pod area...) where you want to mount the relays/modules and I can build it accordingly.

Hey guys....it literally won't take but 10 minutes to install! You spend more time taking the console top plate out than you will installing the express down harness upgrade!

Re: power window relay kit EASY to install!
Some people have inquired about using aftermarket window switches with my express kits-here is one ready to go for member tojan19 and he is using an aluminum 3-position momentary switch. Center position NO and this switch now supplies a ground trigger to a relay activating either express down or up. So, depending on the style of switch used, yes other styles can be utilized.
