Looking for a shifter plate for a 5 spd in good to excellent condition for my 85 trans am...I think all plates from 85-92 will work? Post or send a pic, -I have a plate now thats in bad shape with a good boot...I never pulled it up to see if the boot can be removed? If so I don't even need the boot, just a nice plate.

Forgot to be specific that I need a plate for a TA/firebird, not a camaro. Also would like it with NO power window holes NO power mirror holes etc. I have a manual shifter plate as partial trade as well. It has the power window/mirros holes in it, and it has been painted.

 

I have one that seems to be what you're looking for. It's a manual shifter plate for an 85-92 firebird with no holes for power windows or mirrors and it even has a good boot on it. I'll post up a picture tonight. Also, I'm local for you in Cheektowaga so you can pick it up in person.

That's me. I thought your name looked familiar. It was wnyfbody.com and now we're at newyorkfbody.com. The site hasn't had a lot of traffic lately though. Here are the pictures:





the shifter boot has a small hole in the front that i hadn't noticed before. the plate itself is in excellent condition and the ash tray door still works perfectly. I know that many are broken. I don't like jacking up prices, but i have seen these go for quite a bit on e-bay and they aren't easy to come by in this condition. So I want $75 for it. Send me a PM if you'd like to stop by my place and see it in person. I have lots of other extra parts too and most would go pretty cheap just to free up some space.

i have a brand new one box got wet and was toast so i threw it out part is mint and has been in my closet since 96 ever since the box got messed up
