Black carpet needed
I need black front carpet for my '90 Camaro. It needs to be in decent physical shape with no cuts or tears. Dirty is ok!! I can clean dirty carpet.
This is only a temporary fix until I buy a full set of new carpet front and back.
My zipcode is 75068, so use that for shipping quotes. I would be will to pickup if it is in the Dallas Ft. Worth area.

Re: Black carpet needed
I have been through a carpet replacement. You DON'T want to go through that even once, much less twice. A few years ago I was replacing my seats with leather ones from a 4th gen and decided to replace the carpet too while I had the seats out. Biggest mistake ever.
Literally, the seats took 15 minutes to remove. Just unbolt them and you're done. At that time, I had complete access to the entire interior. Another 10 minutes with a vacuum cleaner and another 20 with resolve and my old stock carpet would have been good to go.
It took 2 weekends to remove all of the panels needed to tear out the old carpet and install the new, and the end result didn't really look better than if I had cleaned the old carpet. Once the carpet was installed, it took another 30 minutes to install the leather seats and another hour fiddling with the wiring for the new powerseat option that I now had.
Try taking out your seats and cleaning your existing carpet. The results may surprise you!

Re: Black carpet needed
I would take your advice but I haven't had carpet in my car in almost 7 years. And the original interior color was red anyway. I also already have everything out of the interior minus the dash. Plus, I am pretty good at interior work so it won't bother me changing carpet out twice.

*bump*
Anyone? I am getting ready to prep the interior for sound deadening. Then I need the carpet.
