Help - need info/pix on cargo cover mounting
I am looking for pix of the mount clips, where they install, how... for the retractable cargo shade as well as a pic of it's 'hook' point under the hatch.
thanks!

Hello,
I'm trying to retrofit this on my '84. All I have to go on are the generic 'sketches' in the owner's manual. If someone has a couple of decent images of the trunk area with one installed showing both the mounts for the cover behind the seat and the 'hook' arragement under the hatch itself to help me from flying blind as I start to cut/drill/fabricate...
appreciate it very much

Here you go, there should be a few here that can help. BTW, I have the mounts, the rear panel, and a vinyl replacement if you need any of them.

Thanks! I see now where the holes are so I can modify my plastic trim under the hatch. Is there a metal plate behind those holes or does it just depend on the strength of the plastic?
What would also help is an image showing the precise location/configuration of the cover mounts on either side...
Anybody?
Thanks again Iron Duke

there is a metal plate back there that forms with the plastic. you will need to fabricate that as well.

Are ya talkin about the old roll up like a shade at the house cover?I just picked up the cover myself at the bone yard. Will be doin the mods soon as i get the rest the parts from the carcass. Will try ta do the pic thingy and step by step.T do know that the rides with out the option originaly do not have the metal brackets under the interior panels to mount the holders for the rollup cover.Ya will have to find and remove em or fab some yerself.I cut mine out of the dead car.Can try ta measure them and take pics.
I have most of what i need here just paln to go back for the interior panel parts so i won't screw up mine by trying to cut out the holes myself. Also leaves me with spares just incase.
