Should fit fine, I have 99 t/a seats in mine with no problems. Only difference is if they are power then you need to rewire some just make sure you get the harness with them.

Hey, srt, welcome to TGO. As you can imagine, most topics have been covered pretty extensively, so a search will often provide more immediate info than asking directly. Good luck on the seats (by the way, IIRC, the rear seats are a bit smaller and leave a gap--Tony correct me if need be).

the REAR seats leave a bit of a gap. my fronts look like they belong there. i have seats form a 96. of course i also have a 4th gen console... so that might be why there is no gap.

the seat rails themselves are also compatable. so if the 2002 seats are manual and your thirdgen seats are power you could swap your thirdgen power rails onto your 2002 manual seats. this is true for alot of GM seats. my 1986 firebird has 2002 cavalier seats resting on the stock 86 fbody rails.

I put them in my convertible. Straight, easy bolt-in. You will love them.

I was trying to find some 4th gen seats at a salvage yard here in PHX and the bozo at the desk told me that they wont fit and he couldn't look up more than one year of a car model to check if they had them, and that those seats have air bags installed in them. This was after I got a lecture on how ordering car parts works. I hate it when the guy I'm trying to get a part from feels he needs to show me how smart he is. I'm going to keep looking though.

. Had a guy tell me I was wrong about 1LE drive shafts fitting both manuals and auto--even though I'd sold around 70 of them and mounted one in my own car.

They did bolt right in. The old seats are a little wider but the new 4th gen seats are very nice. I got mine from a wrecked 2002 V6. They went in like butter.
