after 20yrs, my baby is finally over the hill...possibly a rebuild soon?

Ya know, as much as people like the bright blue "indaglow" look and stuff, I think Pontiac did a damn fine job making the gauges look real nice at night. Congrats on 100k, does it need a rebuild?

Thank You... I prefer the original Pontiac orange glow of my gauges, any other rainbow-neon color seems to rice-y to me... I can't say that it needs one, but after 100k, stuff starts to go on these GM's...

At 100000 miles you can freshen it up with new seals and sensors.You could also get the tranny rebuilt and maybe change the timing chain but the engine internals should be fine.I've got over 200000 on mine and it still doesn't smoke or use oil.As long as you keep up the oil changes you should get 300000 out of the engine.Many happy miles of motoring ahead of you.

my little old lg4 lasted 110000 before it died, but even them it was more of an induction issue that a mechanical one, though it did foul plugs every week.

Actually all the fun is starting to begin. I just got a pair of hooker headers, next on the list upgraded fuel injection system (pump, injectors, regulator) and then NOS....its a 305
