..of what I did to cover the holes that use to be for the window and hatch switches since I converted to non power doors and the hatch motor never worked anyway. The pics don't do it good my camera sucks at taking pics in the dark will take some better ones in the light and it would prob look better if my int was clean
. But anyway what I did was that red carpet I had in my car I cut so it would fit over the area I wanted it to then I took some int paint painted it black and glued it on and this is what it looks like.

I found out today that I need to paint it again I can still see some red in the color thats why the color looks funny and 2nd the glue I used expanded and I have to scrap it and clean it. I did just noticed that I cut it a little short on the drivers side corner oh well.

Thats alright everyone has there opinion I personaly don't like it myself but I dont have the money to buy a new console and all the junkyards around here have not had a 3rd gen for some time now. I think it looks better then 3 holes. Heres another pic after I spared it 4 times.
you could have just left the switches in, i mean if i had power stuff i would have kept it not covert back, and you could have gone to jo anns and got a piece of black carpet instead of spray painting it, saved on smell and goofy looking painted carpet.

Since you don't have the power window/hatch swicthes there you could fabricate 2 cup holders in that section of the console.
