im in the procees of redoing my interior, basicly i have a moslty black interior with red seats, red carpet and some red vinyl on the doors that's all, the rest is all black execpt for very few silver trim just to liven up the interior, i know what color i want everything to be but cant decide what color shifter boot i want to go with, black being the plan b as i'm not sure if red will be tacky and ricy, my hole console is black i want to give it some color, what do u think go black for a nice clean and classy look or red for a more sporty look, dont ask me what color **** im going with it all depends on the boot color, i just hope i can go with a plain white ball with the gears marked on the top wich ever color i go with ... let me know ur opinions and if u have pics plz post

i wonder if this is a tgo record for solving someone problems, well the public has spoken black it shall be, cant go wrong with black now all i have's to do is find an aftermarket or get one stiched up by a pro, hummm maybe i will go with a siler stich that's getting to be pretty popular in modern cars, and by the way if u decide to remove the boot of the metal brackets even after 20+ years its really glued on there tight, the bracket rusts but the glue sticks to it go figure, gm getting it right when it counts

did u custom make it urself or was it aftermarket, havent yet searched up any aftermarket possibilities, anyone got any good refurals

Actually yes! I believe it was on clearance, so I bought it because my stock boot was chipping and had holes, so I figured, "what the hell"! But I have no need for it anymore...
