Vinyl/rubber floor mats
I have some embroidered front floor mats that I would like to protect on rainy days. With the unusual shape of our floor pans I'd like to have a set made for the car. I use a set from GM for my 4th Gen firebirds but what is out there for the thirds?
Does anybody sell them? Pictures?
I posted the question on a turbotransam message board and one suggestion I got was to use a bathroom mat with rubber backing. I was considering that but with a vinyl/rubber mat I would be less likely to get mud/oil/grease from my shop floor on my precious cars interior.
Thanks!

Re: Vinyl/rubber floor mats
There are still lots of factory GM 3rd gen floor mats in the rubber. These are the factory ones as available when our cars were new, and molded to the shape of the foot well. Grey, black, tan, etc (all colors I think) but only the front ones, no rears. Anyways, just look around.. ask your GM dealer, they are like $40 for the pair.
What is hard to find are the original GM molded mats for our cars in the carpeted sets. I want them!

I returned the GM mats I had ordered, I grabbed some black carpet rear floor mats out of a buick and tossed them on my floor. That doesn't really look right and I'd still like to find some vinyl ones. Seems like Hawk's or year one would have something like that. Let me know if you guys find something.
