4th gen seat height/link compared to third gen

Ok, heres my situtation, I just got some 4th gen bloth seats out of a 97 bird (manual seats), They are much more supportive, but it feels like it doesnt slide as far back as my third gen seats did or that maybe it sits higher causing me to not have as much leg room to the gas pedal? Anyone else notice this? If I where to put my original sliders on to the 4th gens would they sit the same as my third gens did but with the better comfort? I love these seats, I just feel a lot more closer to the dash now, passenger is the same way.

Interesting, maybe it's just because they feel different in general? I've never sat in fourth gen seats installed in a third gen, they were all still in a fourth gen, lol.

Manual racks sit higher than powered racks on their lowest setting

You can swap racks just fine

I swapped manual for manual and it feels like the 4th gen ones sit a little lower and farther back.

I think they just sit up higher is what it is and the way the cushion is in the front. Im trying to decide if its worth switching the seat tracks, I kind of like the quick smooth sliding on the 4th gens, but if the 3rd sits better I may just clean them up and put them in it, but i dont wanna waste the time if its the same, lol.
