Re: Grant steering wheels

Personally, I prefer the 4-spoke designs over the 3-spoke ones.

I couldn't find the black version on Grant's site, but here's the silver version (1130):

Re: Grant steering wheels

I like the Challenger series. They are inexpensive compared to some of the other ones and I think they look good.

Re: Grant steering wheels

Frozer, they just can't say they support it for legal reasons. I think liabilities fall on them if they support a SRS steering wheel (safey restraint system) because their steering wheels make using a SRS impossible. PLENTY of people have grant wheels in cars with SRS.

Re: Grant steering wheels

Frozer, don't quote me on this because I haven't done it yet. I think the mounts for the steering wheels are the same throughout 82-92. Difference being hookups for SRS (airbags). Try to do some more searching say....91 92 aftermarket steering grant wheel and see what you come up with.

Re: Grant steering wheels

Will our original horn buttons/center pieces fit the Grants?

The only reason I haven't swapped mine out, is because I like the GTA emblem on mine. If I could move it to a Grant steering wheel, I'll do it!

I would like to get a horn button for my grant. That has the Camaro Z28 logo. How hard would it be to get one or make one.

It's real easy to get one. Pick out the one you want, and order it from Summit, Jegs, Advance Auto, or any other auto parts dealer that carries Grant. Grant's website lists all of the styles and part numbers.

Well, they have Camaro & the bowtie loge, but no Z28. And the closest I can get for my GTA, is the Pontiac arrow.

A guy a while back, got one for his car, with the Transformers logo, from eBay..

Alright couldn't get text to work in the post above nor move those dang images around but the first one is in the iroc-z (hate that wheel grip is way to firm) the next few are the challenger in the firebird pretty nice wheel but everyone and their mom has it. I currently have a sparco in the iroc (was in the garage and it has a way better grip) there's a fairly new grant out it was in the year one camaro on forza motorsports showdown and you can pick it up at autozone it's chrome leather grip two bars on the bottom flat sheetmetal with slots to the side i think it's called the clubster or something like that looks nice haven't driven with one yet.
