New GM console
Looking for new complete center console for 91 firebird. Mine is fine, but I am just picky as hell and want a mint one to match the rest of interior, the console lid has a few sctraches on it. Thanks! Andrew

Also check Modern Day Muscle. Their NOS parts (New Old Stock) are much cheaper than dealer in most cases.

Re: New GM console
The funny thing is that I had a fourth gen console ordered from the gmpartsdirect and the dealer and i was told that they were discontinued. Now asking for a third gen one? I dont know i hope they were just messing with me. Good luck though, and you'd be surprised what you can find at the jy.

Perry keeps some of the weirdest hours. And I think he's the only worker. I've gotten emails back from him at 3 AM. He'll respond. It might just take a while. I've had nothing but PERFECT service from them.

Yes, Perry(MDM) is a good guy to buy from. He will respond, but yes, it might be in the middle of the night.
But I just scanned his site, and, unless I overlooked the console, I didn't see it on there. They have been discontinued, so he might not have any.
Hawks shows both, the console and the lid, on their site. Lids are listed in the exploded pic with the consoles and components, but lids also have a separate listing lower on the page. So look through the whole page in the link below. But Hawks will often show GM parts that aren't available anymore, but it won't be until someone orders one that they tell you it's not available. So give them a call, but don't hold your breath, lol.

Good consoles and lids sometimes turn-up in junkyards, too. I've found them in the past. But that's pure luck. And you'd have to be a very regular visitor to increase the odds for your luck.

Re: New GM console
Think it was $165 or something like that. I think that was a good deal, given the local mazda dealer here wanted $290 for a new switch to the seat heater.
It came complete like that picture, new ashtray and lighter aswell.
