gr8 place here tons of info well im glad to say a got a 87trans am the other day but the console area is nasty i order a new on but need to know what switch goes in between the power window switches? also my dash is missing a switch whis one is it? right above the A/C here is a pic.

 

im not to sure on firebirds,, but camaros the power hatch release goes between the window switches.

 

on most firebirds I've seen the power mirror control is between the power window switches, also I think you're missing the rear defrost button on the dash.

the big hole there is for the rear defroster (off/defroster switch/indicator light) the blank switch filler to the right is for the hatch

 

that's an interesting centerconsole.. do you have anymore pics of it? what's it made of?

 

thanks on the switches i ordered some thanks again , on the center console it came that way it is bonded together with the radio housing the window switches are gone and someone put toggle switches for the windows to go up and down also it was made to fit the b&m shifter that was not installed right so i ordered a new B&M shifter and new "used" console(s) so i will be getting rid of the current console and current shifter in the pics,

 

I'm no expert but I think it used to be a camaro console...

where did u get ur steering wheel and hub ?

Not sure, it looks like a bird console to me. A camaro cosole is made of abs plastic with no padded vinyl cover, although some have carpet. In the picture, it looks like the console has the gray padded vinyl.

Maybe it cam from an early car or one with no options? Or maybe the previous owner fiberglassed it....

I guess it doesn't matter, just thought I'd chime in.
