Re: new interior ideas
Oops read your post wrong. You can get keyless entry. Best buy has the Directed Electronics - Viper Keyless Entry System that will give you what you want. If you install that hatch release before you get the system they can get it so the extra button pops the hatch. Price includes basic installation, additional costs for parts and labor may be necessary depending on vehicle make and model. Guess you could talk to them and see if the basic install will cover your car.
Also there are many more different systems and brands so check them out.

Re: new interior ideas
ok in my research for my interior conversion.... i came across (or was pointed to) this website http://www.thehoffmangroup.com/autol...inc=ultratouch
the original idea was to shave my door handles and use a popper remote with backup buttons, until i found this, i could replace my popper buttons with these, and then some.
imagine your push button ignition, being a touch button ignition mounted anywhere you see fit.
you could replace all of your buttons with this as well. imagine taking out your window buttons, and instead having a flat piece of plastic with buttons drawn on .....that work. or touching your ac **** and haveing it turn on..... the possibilities ....... think about it....... still looking for the carpet too....
also for some reason was contemplating wood grain interior too, just some ideas
what do you guys think????

Re: new interior ideas
Well dude I'm really about security my self I got easily 400 in my sound system and planning to put much more (leather seats, subs, small TV screen). I don't know I could see my self putting in a button that would just open my door with no way to lock it. Now if you got the keyless locking system then I could see this as pretty good. You just want to make sure your stuff is going to be there when you get back. Hahaha you really like buttons I know you can get it to start your car and I'm sure some crazy guy has made one touch up/ down window button I would just look at it carefully and make sure it is what you want so you don't waste money. If you like it go for it!! Umm I really don't know how you'd get a button that could do all the AC. Our A/C's are not digital like car now days they have wires that are moved to get the results. But anything is possable it just the time and money that you have to put into it.

Re: new interior ideas
i really never planned on putting the touch on the outside, it was the inside that really sparked my interest, it was the touch interior, the switches could really work on anything you wanted, with enough custom work i could make just about anything work on a touch, imagine a touch screen camaro
