I found something useful under my dash pad- the original GM door key

 

So, if any of you are interested, I dyed my interior, I made a thread about it. But anyways, while I was prepping to dye it, I pulled the seats and all the plastic trim out to dye outside of the car.

Under the rear seats was a gold mine haha. $4 in change, an unlit birthday candle, a few sockets, a BIC lighter that has a sticker on it that says 'I HEART NIPPLES' (still works) a green colored pencil and the bone from a chicken wing...

Front seats didn't actually have anything under them, other than grass/leaf bits and probably $1 in assorted change.

 

in my uncle's 84 z28, he found a converse sneaker and a tube of toothpaste

Weirdest thing I've ever found.. A dead mouse in a mouse nest in the center console of my '88, a "increase your faith through prayer" CD, and a bunch of sockets in the rear storage compartment.

 

I found chop sticks under my rear seats.

 

i found a can of kodiak chewing tobacco INSIDE the evaporator box

 

Maybe he really liked the smell of tobacco I mean really liked it lol.

 

lets see i found a unused diaper under my back seat, bunch off bolts,some poker chips and in my center console about 7 dollars worth of change still havent got the chance to rip up the carpet


in my 85 vette i found a new wireing harness a bunch of detailing supplies 3 head units and a live turtle the old owner lived next to a canal

 

better then a Used one..LOL

 

i found a small pen type torch in the heater core box.

i found a couple pieces of gum from the 80's lol still in the rapper under my passenger rear seat bucket. they were brittle and looked wierd when i un wrapped one.

 

I found a pocket knife stabbed into the transmission by the shifter of my 84 with a t5, that was interesting...also found a butter knife with a big dried glob of jb weld on it in the engine bay, not sure what that was being used for :S

 

Under the pass front seat of my 90 Formula I found a pink bra... Wouldn't you know that I didn't find it it AFTER I got married and had to explain that to the wife that was supervising....

BTW I would LOVE to find the gal that the bra belonged to.... little thin gal with a nice set of **ts... So if you ever owned/rode in a black Formula in the KC area, i've got that bra you lost...

 

after i took off the louvers on my hatch on my 85 tpi t/a i found a pretty much whole tree under the side flanks, amazing, i had the car for ten minutes and had those things off, in my opinion they ruin the car

just finished stripping out the interior in my 85 z28 and a mouse jumped out at me from the rear speaker, you know it has the foam kinda stuff behind the speaker to give it better sound or something. oh, and i used to have a 94 explorer and while running some wires for remote start i found a piece of a mirror about 4"x5" with a drivers license under the center consol... hmmmmm... btw, i used to keep a condom or two behind the horn button in the camaro when i was in high school.

 

I havnt found anything in the iroc yet, but in my crown vic police car i found a set of smith and wesson hand cuffs, a partially eatin..... you guess its a police car, and best a detroit pd badge i took the badge to the msp post so i didnt get caught and arested for having a false badge, i kept the hand cuffs

 

I thought i can remember my seat spring in my TA looking like this, i had to pull my seat out a while back because it dosnt go up far enough anymore, i have a permanent gangster lean on the go now

 

I found $16 in change.. some of it from other countries haha, a monopoly card from 1985, a few pellets and part of a dvd player nothing too terrible

 

Well, I've been in the process of stripping down my IROC's interior for a while. I just get lazy and take a few days off here and there. Anyway! I've stripped out the sound proofing from over top the quarter panels, also the whole hatch area. Didn't really find anything interesting there.

Took out my backseats, nothing really too interesting there, stupid field mice were making a snack out of the foam in my seats though. Today, I took out the front seats, and I found TWO dimes!

I was hoping for a lot more change from a 23 year and 5 month old car! Oh well, every penny towards my new paint job helps.

 

When I bought the car about 2 weeks ago, I found an old faded paper recommending to "Jimmy's" parents that he attend special education english classes.

And just the other day, while removing the air inlet duct, I found the stock oil filler cap INSIDE of the corrugated part of the duct!

 

On inspection of my car before I bought it, I found a golf club in the boot, without the actual part that strikes the ball. The owner at the time was there, and forgot to mention over the phone that that is what he used to keep the hood up. (First thing I replace were the hood struts!)

The next day when I was taking a good look through the car, I found a set of 3 throwing knives under the driver seat. I though that was interesting!

 

Found a radiator cap right on top of the K&N air filters (inside the intake system!). Thank god our MAF sensors have the screen or else it might have got sucked into the plenum lol!!

Unused Tampon in the defrost duct work. I also found cigar wrappers in the trim when I took off my A pillar plastic, I found a bunch of cash and I couldnt get some of it out so I just put my liquid sound deadener over it. All in all it wasnt too bad.

 

i was putting my new power doors oon my 85 today, removed the panel off the passenger side, found TWO (2) windows in it.... yup... one installed in the track, and the other in a million pieces FILLING the bottom of the door, it was EASILY a whole windows worth. po replaced the window but was tooo damn lazy to vacuum the old glass out

 

Musta been one heavy *** door!

 

yea it was. needed two people to carry

 

What's really heavy are both seats combined. I'm a pretty big guy at over 6'0" tall and nearly 200 pounds, but they were a challenge to get upstairs, in my "parts room".

Oh yeah, I found more money in the Camaro last night when we took out the carpet, a few dimes fell out, a nickel or two, some pennies, and a quarter. I was quite happy, that's the joy of taking an old car apart, or looking under old furniture, free money!

 

I found my cat boxed in the trunk of my '84 H.O.









Of course it was Dec '84 and I was picking the car up near Frankfurt, Germany. There was no Unleaded in country so my new car was delivered with an export pipe installed and the cat in the trunk.

 

I found what I believe to be a homemade crack pipe in mine, it was hidden in the body cavity to the right of the back seat

 

Peanut shells. So many under the hood, even between the black cloth thing and the hood.

 

Bought my 87 iroc about 9 months ago...found 3 grams of weed and a mars bar beside the seat

You bet I weighed it out our kitchen scale comes in handy! The mars bar had a pretty old wrapper but it was still pretty good

 

Wait, wait, wait...you ate the mars bar???I guess the person you bought the car from figured that when you get frustrated at fixing the iroc that you bust out the gift he gave you. More than makes up for it. Good Times

when i went to drop my starter to change my knock sensor i found half a sparkplug wedged between the starter and the oil pan !

I part out camaros and firebirds to resale the parts. So I rip out a lot of interiors. This is what i have found so far. A cell phone, needles, picture of a girl that went to my high school in 1989, condoms, and a part of a bowl that you smoke weed out of. Crazy ****... lol

 

Us Third Gen owners must be some wild people. Almost every post is related to Marijuana, drugs, beer, women, sex, money. Then there's the lame people like me who only find mouse droppings, a couple blades from utility knives, and pocket change. The pocket change bought me a couple sodas though, so I'm okay with that.

I think i have you all beat haha, i bought a 1989 camaro w/ a 5.7 from a guy from Cleveland. Well first off he said that he didnt have a job, okay thats fine. He was in his 40s, gold on every part of his body, still okay right? Well he claimed he rebuilt the motor 2 years ago when he bought the car, and never drove it in the winter (6 months) and put 30 FREAKIN THOUSAND miles on it! Can someone say drug dealer? haha okay so I deffinately seached the entire car. I didnt find any drugs, but stuffed behind the radio deck were boxes of condoms, UNUSED. He was married, so I, personally, think he was cheating on his wife, cuz wat wife would look behind a radio? okay horrible AND creepy. But wait, theres more. There was a kitchen knife jus sittin in the back of the car...sharp as he// too. But worst of all? Stuffed under the backseat what a clear bag that said "BIOHAZARD" on it and inside was wet, white stuff.....let your imaginations run wild. ew.

 

ya in my trams am i found a carb distributor bowling ball wheel caps and some computer unit, all for the car. but also a sweat shirt, and a ford mass air flow sensor and a computer lookin thing that says prom on it.

o ya and a extra of the headlight switch and gauge cluster rear defroster switch and things of that sort

it was my uncles be for me so im glad i didnt find any other stuff

today i was changin out my heater core and a found a unsed fishing lure i waz jammed between the dash and the heater core cover !

I have had the entire interior out of my car and didn't find anything of interest anywhere. Not even a lost coin. The only thing I ever found was during my engine swap, there was a an old Craftsman combo wrench just laying on the K-member.
