I'm new to this site and just purchased my first Camaro a few weeks ago on Craigslist. With a few little repairs here and there the car is going to be bad ***. Yesterday I began to think about changing the shifter and other things, to make the car more of the way I want it. So I was thinking.
Is there anyway to replace the stock shifter in a 91 Camaro with a classic Horseshoe shifter? I have always wanted that shifter in my car. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have never seen this done before. I always loved the horseshoe shifters. Try it man!

 

Did you ever go through with the horseshoe shifter an if so did it work out?

 

Old thread, Im still trying to score a horseshoe shifter for this very convo.Ive a couple ideas how to do it, but ima cheapo lookin for a cheap HS shifter.

Go on summit there's like 140 set by original parts equipment but it doesn't have a base that the flat metal piece on the bottom bolts to
