dash ideas

i have a 88 ta with digital gauges that i hate is there any body that has or know how to make something to fill all of that up. One thing i had in mind was to do some searching for manual cluster the ones that just have the four 5 inch holes and put them in because i really like how they look but would wiring them up to work be very difficult.

Re: dash ideas

would i still need the harness if i put aftermarket gauges in there ive seen some that have a 5 in. tach and 5 in. mph gauges on either of the column and and the gas gauge right up above the column toward the top pf the panel, and the other two holes they cut out making it 1 big oval shaped hole and has other gauges they you would want and need. just asking that becasue not sure if they i would the harness i know some gauges have there own sending units but i could totally wrong thats why im asking!

Wow, first time I have seen a digital to analog conversion. Have heard people spending alot of time and money going from analog to digital...... Digital looks a hell of alot better, cleaner........

Re: dash ideas

Digital = PITA. I have it and I hate it. t was cool when I first got the car, but after having it I don't care for it anymore. Everything but the speedo is not as accurate as analog gages. I've been comtemplating doing this myself, but going mechanical instead of electrical gages.
