Who the hell makes aftermarket interiors!?!?!?!

Alright alright. I am sick of this.
I can't find any aftermarket consoles or dashes or anything for my 88' GTA.
You see fieros get all the interior kits and such.
I want a nice custom interior with custom seats and perhaps some carbon fiber inlays. Just a nice clean tricked out interior (nothing ugly or greased up).
Im thinking black seats with heavy maroon stitching and just a different looking dash. Maybe something with cupholders.

If you could help me out that would be great!

Re: Who the hell makes aftermarket interiors!?!?!?!

to my knowledge, no one makes specific aftermarket interiors for our cars. Most of the aftermarket stuff you'll see here is done by the owner/member or out of a combination of parts...e.g. I have a center console of a 2002 Trans Am (4th gen). At one point I had seats off a Mitsubishi Starrion... I have faux carbon fiber radio trim and other faux carbon fiber accents. I also have aftermarket steering wheel...etc. Sorry to say but you'll have to get creative...

For customizing your interior, you'll likely be heading down the same path as others who drive restomods, hotrods, ratrods, etc. They utilize the services of custom fabrication companies. While usually more expensive than the mass market of generic stuff, if you can't get it then it's one of your few options (unless you can do it yourself). On the plus side, your interior will be unique to your ride and the quality usually ranges from good to great.

A really good source for finding out about what's available is at some of the local car shows. Lot's a good guys in the ESRA (Edmonton Street Rod Association) as well as many other clubs . They will tell you things like who did the work, how much $$$ (pretty specific on the car and what's done), and if they are happy with the work, etc.

A couple of shows coming up is the . . .
The Aberta Super Run in Red Deer weekend of Aug 1st & 2nd (awesome show)
Spruce Grove Show on Aug 14th
Alberta Beach on Aug 22nd (another good one)
. . . etc

Ya that's sweet. I am going to get my seats reupholstered in black leather with gunmetal inserts and heavy maroon stitching - pretty positive I can find a shop to do that, and get the rear seats to match. Then take apart the dash and everything lay some plastic paint on it just to give it that new look, and hopefully make some sweet carbon fiber inlays unless I come up with another idea.
Hey topless how did you make yours or did you buy them, and how do they attach? Because I'm pretty sure the stock GTA 1mm x 1mm square inlays clip in on the dash and radio pod?

Thanks!

Sorry, are you asking me? I don't quite follow what you mean. My ride's bone stock, but I have been involved with doing mods with other vehicles.

ps; Not many 3rd gens around Alberta. Decent ones anyway. I'm in Edmonton once in a while. Might see you around.

Re: Who the hell makes aftermarket interiors!?!?!?!

Oh sorry I meant the other guy for the inlays. Ya it's my daily driver so im sure lots of people see me. Shes always clean though and the passenger fender is effed.
A few months ago I was in the 142 and 107 traffic circle on the inside lane with my single on showing that I was staying in the lane when a large 3500 sierra flatbed truck came from the outside of the circle straight into my lane expecting me to yield, well I tried but i couldnt stop in time and ran right into his tailights. All in all it was not my fault at all and I did have a witness however since I did not have collision on my car they can take quite a bit of time but finally just last week an appraiser came out to look at the damage. Shoppers on yellowhead quoted me at $5200. So if all goes well she'll be fixed before I have to store her.

Man, that sucks. Hope all goes well. She looks in nice condition from what I see on the profile pic. I like the colour.
