Gear selector window, looking for some advice from the pro's here

I have a backlit shift plate from an 89 iroc-z, the selector window is pretty scratched up, paint missing yadda yadda yadda. The plate is pretty clean, andone know where to get a replacement window or has anyone made/repainted tier own???

Nope, never.

Your's is far enough gone, you'll probably want to find a way to back mask the PRND321 lettering. A shop that makes vinyl signs could probably make you up a mask.

If you're carefull you could probably seperate the clear plastic indicator from the rest of the shifter plate. Then just get a piece of clear plastic from the hardware store and make a new one.

this one lit up blue also, im going to be changing that to red though

or maybe just make the indicator dark red to match the car!

Someone was selling replacement aftermarket shift indicators on ebay, but this was a few years ago. They offered different colored ones; blue, silver, red, yellow, etc.

Did you read this:

I had a fellow member make me a new one - he was local and worked at a sign shop. It's like transperancy film that he made into the shift lettering. Then I repainted the red indicator dtripe with some testors red paint. Any signshop will be able to remake for you like I did, and for under $20. Just stop in a local sign shop and show them what you want.
