Really, really, really stupid question......
Where is the spare tire/how do I get to it, because normally the fabric in the trunk isn't tacked down or whatever, you just pull that up and there is a plastic cover with a huge wignut, on my Camaro, the carpet doesn't seem like it pulls out, and I can't find any kind of handle or anything to imply it's removable. Here's a couple pictures....
So I guess, either I'm wrong about the carpet pulling up, missed something, or it sits in that little gully normally and was already removed.

If your looking into your trunk from the rear of the car, you'll find the spare tire and equipment behind the first plastic panel on your right. The panel is held down by a few huge plastic screws.
Basically the spare is hugging the inside of the passenger quarterpanel, standing up(assuming its still there at all).

Alright thanks, I'll have to check there, kind of odd that you have to remove screws to get to it though...sort of contradicts the point of a spare since most people don't keep tools in their cars...

Yeah, when i called them screws... I was being very liberal with the term. First time i saw them, they reminded me of a little tykes construction set I had when I was 5 or 6.
