Car: 1987 camaro,88 firebird
Engine: 2.8 v6,5.0 tpi
Transmission: manual
Axle/Gears: 3.47
i wanna throw the speedometer orr a cliff..
i just got a 145 mph speedo for 80 bux to replace my 85 mph speedo.. 85 mph speedo came out semi easily but putting the 145 mph speedo is near impossible.. for some reason its not fitting in right.. its the same size and shape as the 85 mph one... its very hard... i cant even pry it in.. it appears as if its sitting higher then where it should be.. cant move it down to fit.. any suggestions?

Lower the steering wheel all the way down and hold it down. Try to hold the cluster more towards the right side of the dash, and sort of "turn" it up and into the dash. If that doesnt work, lower the steering column slightly and it should fit in.
This is assuming the steering column is in the way?

yes the collumn was in the way.. got it now.. there were two bolts or so holding the steering collumn up.. tilting the collumn wasnt working...unbolted it and the collumn slid down enough to have it slide in like butter.. thank you!

yeah.. now all i need to dois figure out why my engine just stopped getting fuel pressure... i dont get fuel at key... i just replaced the pump under warranty and the new pump isnt pumping anything... the relay isnt turning on and wheni manually activate the relay nothing happends... is there a fuse for the pump or is the relay the only thing?

Not too sure on that one, just check all the fuses anyway. I think the ecm controls when the relay is activated to turn the pump on, but thats as much info as I can give.. Good luck solving it!

2 fuses, on on the passenger side frame rail by the battery tray, one in the fuse box

.under the hood fuses.. and i couldnt find one under the dash either...
are the under hood ones fusible links? or are they regular fuses
