Did a search and these threads came up easily.. I sure there is more, just a matter of looking for them. Good luck with the swap

This has been done before. Use search and you'll find a ton of info. We see this question about once a week.

Very nice, what did you have to modify to get the console in? And is it secured in place?
because of my seats....it stays secured in place...but its not bolted in or anything...i had to cut the originalcenterconsole bottom all the way up to the top piece ill try and get some pix of the process i did

How did you guys fix the hatch and pwr window button to configure to the 4th gen dash? My 91 camaro has the switchs in the center console so just wondering where they are modded in the 4th gens dash??!!
well you can easily cut a small piece out anywhere in the console to make your switch fit or just hide it somewhere where you can get to...or put it in the ashtray
It will likely decrease the value of your car (of course this depends on how far gone the rest of the interior is).
decrease?.....guess everyone has there 2 cents ha...

If your interior is original and in good condition, then yes, the 4th gen console will decrease your cars value. The vast majority of people who are willing to pay decent money for these cars will spot it in about 2 seconds, and won't like it.Originally Posted by marokid

alright when everyones drink spills on there carpet we will see whos value decreses because i have a cupholder now ....and i dont plan on reselling this car so im no where near concerned of resale value
