call me crazy......but can you swap out completely the stock 89 firebird dash, for the corresponding camaro one, i know weird question, but i like the way it looks better, and do have almost the whole dash laying around in the garage, aswell as alot of other un-used camaro parts, so jw can it be done, will i need to mod the wiring gauges......all that

excellent, i always wanted a camaro, but got a firebird, imo the camaros had better interiors, so if it is just a direct swap. then i'll wait until i have the time (3-4 days) and go for it

I was also wondering. But I'm wondering of just the top of the dash of the Camaro onto the original of the Firebird. For which mine is cracked and I saw a mint one at the junkyard.

and james what about just using the firebird gauge, it'll fit right? just get a set of gauge overlays or make a set of my own with photoshop

Maybe some of your buddies might not notice, but nearly every one of us here at TGO will.
Also, the Firebirds had the better interior of the 3rd and 4th gen F-bodies. The seats, door panels, and dash were nicer. Firebirds got nice easily to read backlit electronic gauges starting in '86, while the Camaro had to make do with those old fashioned looking ones up until '90 (this was also the case in other GM cars such as the Sunbird vs Cavalier).

Re: weird question, i think a good one
i know they were nicer, and its not a matter of quality, although the camaro seats i have now are way more comfortable that my original ones i like the camaro ones better, i'm also planning to swap to red led lights int he gauges anyway, so the hard to read thing isn't much of a problem and i was gonna make a custom badge, or decal for the dash, i'd also like to switch the console out just to complete the look, then maybe 4th gen or gta door panels black(charcoal)/grey to compliment the 4th gen camaro seats (also charcoal/grey) i think i can make it look good if i do it right and take my time
