Anyone know what the name of this color combination was. I want to get the seats re-upholstered and want the colors to match. I need the sides redone, not the part with Camaro on it. So it would be the dark orange color. Kind of a reddish orange.

think this was a preproduction interoir, burnt orange FFL9 i believe. been awhile since i seen this interoir.
Thanks. I knew it was a relatively rare interior. (I've never seen another burnt orange one myself.) I found this place:
http://originalauto.com/products/n-o...at-cloth-vinyl
I sent them a pic of my interior, and I'm hoping they can match the color. When I hear back from them I'll pass along that color code and see if it matches.
Thanks again.

Why would you say that this is pre production? If it's pre production, how did it get into a production car? It's the LS Conteur red interior.Originally Posted by bignastyIROC-Z

I'm one VERY happy camper!!!!!!!!

Good news is I found the fabric, and I live real close to one of the best upholsterers in Ohio, (the guy does amazing work). The bad news is its gonna cost about $1200 between the cost of labor and materials...........Looks like I need to work some more overtime........

Coyote850...........Please pass this info on!!!!!!!! I have the exact same interior and need my fronts redone also!!! This is awesome news. I did see the material on Ebay once, but it was way to much cash.
$125 was too much for the fabric? Guys, if you need quality products, and want NOS stuff, it does cost money. Where else are you going to find that fabric for less than $150? The labor to do the work will cost plenty also. If you want "nice" it costs!
Why are so many people on this board so afraid to buy quality? I like what Deadbird said in another thread the other day about people here want steak on a spam budget! If you can't afford to fix it right, then buy something that doesn't need fixing.

Qouted for truth. I wish I only spent $125 on fabric. I need 2.5 yards to re-do my front seats. At $85/yard it was $240 shipped. This is NOS original fabric as seen above for my seats. Stuff ain't cheap. But I NEVER thought I'd find the original fabric for my '83 Z-28. So I gladly paid the price. This car is my baby, has been for 21 years, gotta take care of her.

There is a seller on eBay named ROHNAZ. He sells the insert fabric, depending on color for $150. He usually starts the sale at $125 with a buy it now for $150. Contact him directly and he will get the stuff you need. I have a roll of the grey and a roll of the brown insert fabric and I don't even have an LS Conteur interior. A friend of mine contacted Rohnaz and purchased some grey for his 4th gen. I like it!

That is exactly correct. You basically get what you pay for. It is very hard to find factory NOS fabric these days and when you find it if you want your interior nice, then you pay the big price.Originally Posted by scottmoyer

I am amazed at the color of the fabric I got. I honestly did not know just how faded my seats were till now. My seats look like a faded burnt orange, when in fact they should be damn near as red as the car itself.
