Unkown part that came with the car
Unkown part that came with the car
About a year ago I bought a 92 RS camaro that was decently priced. When i bought the car, it came with a box of used parts (Nothing unusual) and a bag with what seems like panels in it(Which was located in the hatch).

I pulled the bag out and put it in the garage, then promptly forgot about it. Just recently today I found it and pulled the panels out, put them together and tried my hardest to think of what it would be for.

I searched around this site, and checked a few others out. I can't put together what it would be for, where it would go or why it was there.
Would anybody have an idea what it's for? Would really help me out.
Thanks!

I can see now that it's not made for third gens, but rather fourth gens. Would you happen to know what these might be worth? Since I have a third gen, it needs to go.

Looks like you lucked out...that's one of the most coveted 4th gen items. They all came with it, but few cars are actually sold with them.
My co-worker sold one on eBay a few months back, went for $375. Keep in mind his had never been used, but yours like to be in nice shape as well.

I bet the guy picked that up from a salvage yard with the intention of converting it into a storage well cover for his trunk area. If so, good thing he never actually got around to cutting the thing up.
