possible to swap steering columns?
Ok, so just to explain, is it possible to swap a non-tilt steering column to a tilt steering column? if so then what years/models would be compatible with my 85 SC?

It is possible as I swapped a 87 tilt column into my 85 which was non tilt. I think the only columns that are different are the ones with the air bag which was 90 - 92

You can probably use any 3rd gen without air bags.

If you have some mechanical skills,no more than 2 hrs labor.Mostly just removing bolts and nuts,some elec.plugs,really not hard at all.Just take your time.
