where do I get new sun visors with mount at for a convertible? How much should they be? The only place I've found them is eBay and there 100 bucks.

Re: sun visors

$100 seems high. If you have your old ones, they can be easily recovered. Took me about $10 of material from a fabric store and about 2-3 hours of cutting and sewing but they came out nice. Since mine were black, getting the material was easy, too. Using the old ones as a pattern also helped because I could reuse the cardboard base piece.

Do don't say why you're searching for visors, but if it's because the car has "floppy sun visor syndrome," there's a fix:

Re: sun visors

The ASC converts. did use the t-top model visors.

A trip to the pic-a-part yard could score you another set.
Or send a message to Denny at www.thirdgenranch.com
and see if he has the pivots or complete visor................

Yes mine are tattered and floppy. Rick's has the new mounts for the best price I've found so far but he's hi on the visor. I saw a delete plate but hell the guy wants 35 for them. I broke the drivers side so I kind of need them now.

This is what the innards of your visor may look like. This is from my '86 Z hardtop.
