Aftermarket pedals

I wanna see pics of aftermarket pedals don't care if they're cheap autozone ones or real billet aluminum pedals. The stock rubber pedal fell of a couple years ago i kinda wanted to jazz up the interior with some cool pedals just don't wanna be drilling into the stock ones.

Crap, haven't been on in a while, scrolled down and saw somebody asked the same question, sorry.

Thanks....About 20 minutes, but the hardest part is getting your head down there to see what you are doing. They did mount over the rubber pedals and I don't know if that will be a problem or not.

Re: Aftermarket pedals

I bought a set at advance one time. But I couldn't get the things to mount properly. The clutch and brake were fine once I removed the rubber cover from them. But the gas pedal is an oddly shaped piece of plastic and the ones I bought simply would not fit over it in anyway that would be held securely.

Anyone have any tips on how to get around that? Is there a particular brand / type that will fit over the gas pedal?

Re: Aftermarket pedals

I know there was a person or small company that made direct fit pedals for our cars, it's been a few years since I have seen the website, so not sure if they are around any more.

Re: Aftermarket pedals

These were the pedals I've been wanting for ages, but can never manage to set aside the money for them.

Always wanted the floormat "heel plate" thing they offer too.

I saw that site with the direct fit pedals but I don't like them. I don't want all silver pedals, and don't like their all black ones really either.

Plus I think 170 dollars (for the black set which are the only ones I'd even consider using) on a set of pedals is a bit ridiculous.

Guess I'm just stuck with the stock pedals unless I find something that will fit better for a reasonable price later. Not like this is a really important part that needs to look great. Very few people other than me will even see the pedals.

Re: Aftermarket pedals

Got these at WallyWorld Came as a set complete with shifter ****, boot, valve caps and pedals. They were on clearance for around $15. I think they had a couple left. Very easy to install and real metal too. RT

Re: Aftermarket pedals

Here's a link to a guy on ebay that was selling the exact same set, he didn't sell them.
