I'm thinking about doing this. Anyone have any pictures of any, or guides?

Re: Rear seat delete

Remove 2 bolts, 2nuts and if you have shoulder belts, 4 more torx bolts.
done.

They arent really heavy but I think its more roomy and comfy if the seats are out.

Re: Rear seat delete

The question is what are you going to do once it's out? I've been debating this on mine for a while, too. I have no kids and adults are hard to fit in the back so it is of no use to me.

Re: Rear seat delete

Mostly weight reduction, but could be good storage and use for subs/amps

Re: Rear seat delete

Not really much weight there to remove.

Re: Rear seat delete

I was thinking the same thing, Radix. Although it wouldn't look like I put a system in just to show off or anything. Something a bit more subtle would be cool.

Re: Rear seat delete

I was actually thinking about keeping the subs in the back in the well, and converting that into a storage unit for T tops, and whatever else

Re: Rear seat delete

I just keep mine folded down. It looks clean, makes a good place to carry stuff and keeps the top of the seats from getting sun rotted. The next owner might want back seats so that his kids can ride along.

Re: Rear seat delete

I wouldn't be throwing the part away, so it can always go back in
