im re-covering my headliner and do not know what color to order from classic industries for the fabric. i have a black interior. 1984 camaro. and i thought the headliner would just be called "black" headliner fabric, but there are so many other names that i dont know which one will match my interior. can someone help me?

According To My 1984 Camaro Brochure Black Wasn't Available In 1984.

 

would charcoal be the same as graphite

 

I googled the interior colours of third gens and found a site that had all the names of the interior colours. It's hard to know how close some of them are to those offered at Classic Industries or Hawks though.

 

i went with abs headliner un covered came in gray texred finish.

i ordered charcoal headliner material. im going to re-cover it along with the sail panels. ill post up before and after pics when i get it done

 

You've already made your choice, so just to ease your mind, yes, Charcoal is correct for 1984; it was available from 82-84. Black came out in 1985.
