Dropped one of the middle dashboard screws, does it matter?

Dropped one of the middle dashboard screws, does it matter?

Does it matter? I dropped one of the middle screws of the dashboard towards the back of it. I tried to use a magnetic grabber but I couldnt find the screw. Does it matter? It doesnt look like it would go down a heater hose

Are you saying that you dropped one of the screws down the defroster ducts?

Yes, one of the two wide holes towards the windshield, in the middle of the dash..

Not sure if it is the same as my '83 TA, but I actually dropped the nut driver bit and a short 1/4" extension that I was using to tighten the screw down the defroster vent when I was installing my dash.

Was pissed and figured I would surely screw something up.

A few days later I hit a bump and the bit and extension fell out of the floor vent!

Hopefully you will be as lucky!
