What the hell is this? pic included

i went to the UautoPullIt today.
Got a rear bumper cover,,nice..
New t-top tbar,,dash pad, console lid
And a speedo cluster that just dont look right..
It is outta 1985 Berlinetta/305 carb car.
There is no km/h on the face..
Matter of fact; the face is white!!
With a 5500 rpm redline.
The white face looks perfect, looks like a sticker placed over the original
guages. Is it a 145 mph cluster?? Can you buy new stickers to put over
the old ones? The number on the bottom of the cluster is A/C 25084004.
If it is just a sticker over the 85 mph speedo; is there a way to make it read
correctly? Looks nice really.
I got all the goodies AND a (really nice) header for my HondaCivic work car for $150...Plus a Drivers side t-top complete seal,,that was laying inside the car and never installed....sweet
Please help if you can,,,
thank you

There are many aftermarket guage overlays that are white or silver in color. Post up a picture and we can tell you for sure what it is.

It's the cluster out of a 2057 flying purple potato with the time travel option. Seriously, without a picture we can't tell you crap.

Yup aftermarket gauge overlay in white. No factory third gen had white gauges.

Re: What the hell is this? pic included

I guess to find out it its a "real" 145 speedo; ill just install it and see.
Not too hard,,that would be really good for the price...
85 mph speedo sux.
Is there a way to tell without installing it?
thanks

the picture is really blurry but it looks like it says "km/h" on the bottom of the speedometer.

Re: What the hell is this? pic included

Me thinks the needle was installed incorrectly, I don't believe it should be laying on the trip reset ****.

A dinner fork is the cat's meow for removing needles without damage......

Re: What the hell is this? pic included

Yea, the tachs on these cars are "always" off.
But; with a couple of resisters they can be fixed.
Installed guage cluster, but my speedo didn't work.
The speedo cable was snapped off at the tranny input.
Will try again this weekend.
Wish me luck
BTW... the number on the bottom of the 85mph speedo was different,,good sign.
