Those are some tricky door panels, I did a set myself last year https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/memb...-interior.html
The later style door panels are a little easier to restore, https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/post...68-post13.html

Finally installed!!! The firebird logo on the door handle trim will be replaced with a chevy logo or something, but for the most part they are completed!!!! 8D
Last pick.
Also while i was in there I got everything well oiled up so that my locks actually work, and I replaced the outside door handles Because the rattled like mad even when I was driving lol.

Those look very nice installed. Good job and good luck on finding a bowtie logo for the door handle trim.

Thanks 8) I was going to make a jig for the firebird logo to mill the facing off so I can place an aluminum piece in there with the Chevy logo milled into that.Originally Posted by blacksunshine'91

I think I've seen some that were just flat without a logo that you could have milled. If not, maybe just put some filler in the logo and then have that milled out. Just spitballing some ideas for you.

Easiest would be fill the logo, paint grey, decal or paint logo on top.

Yeah, I'll probably end up doing something like that. I just don't want the logo to be raised up from the rest of the panel.Originally Posted by stealtht/a

So I ordered some new RS emblems for the door panals. I'm thinking on putting them on the upper corner of the white. It will be just the RS and not the 25th anniversary part of it. What do you guys think??
