gauge cluster out of v6 will it work in v8
I have a 91 camaro rs v8 will the gauge cluster out of a 91 v6 work I know it will fit but will it work ?

most of the tachs are off anyway , there is a guy that will send the right chip that has been repaired that will get your tach to read correct for the V8 in the V6 cluster for cheap. I think the only other difference is the 60vs80 psi oil gauge and you can put in the V6 sender under the hood or just not worry about the reading being a tad off.

There is a ton of information here if you search for it. I just posted a few links in another thread so I'll give you the link to that thread. In there is another thread dedicated to the accuracy of the 91-91 tachs, plus how to dial a V6 one for a V8. If your old tach still works you could transfer the tach from your old cluster to your new one. In fact, that's what I would do.
