Re: T top headliner
you can buy them covered or bare, i have one bare in my RS, with the headliner uncovered and nothing behind it to absorb any bumps/flexes mine developed cracks. I simply plastic welded it back together and put foam rings behind each screw, haven't had an issue since.
the only real issue i had with mine was the visor holes were no where near close to lining up, i would have preferred the company who made these to not pre cut those holes but it is what it is and i made it work
btw 1A sells the same kit, it is made by the same manufacture, 320 shipped, not sure what Hawks would charge for shipping

Re: T top headliner
if i had a stock headliner i would have chosen to recover it as well, mine was very deteriorated to the point of no return, same way with my iroc, if i ever get lucky and someone close to me has a decent one for sale i could recover i will probably do that for the iroc

Re: T top headliner
I bought the Hawks ABS Headliner kit with the headliner, sail panels, and sunvisors. I think it turned out very well. It doesn't look as light as it does in the pictures, I blame the flash and the fact that I was in a closed garage. It looks perfect in the sunlight!

Haha... Yeah i was hoping my videos would help folks avoid the little mistakes while doing that job.
I would actually love to pull mine apart and re-do the headliner, using what I know now. However, Im afraid it would do more damage than good at this point with as fragile as that board is. Maybe Ill give it a go this summer though.

Yeah, I've been looking, the problem with the west is, cars are hard to find, seems the yards just crushed them, seems most of the parts change hands much further to the east, which brings shipping a semi fragile object a long distance problem up, I'm getting ready for paint so I have time
