Hey guys just wondering? Did the passenger side pmd seat have a power option? Or was that a manual seat and only the driver side had the power option?

Awesome. I just purchased a set for 100 a piece and when I got them noticed only one was power. started sweating. lol

 

I've seen both with power option

 

I have never seen an 82 Bird with PMD's with a passenger power seat, only the driver.

 

And since the mounting tabs are offset from front to rear,
the seat tracks are not interchangeable, between driver & passenger!

 

For that matter, I don't know of any pre-2010 F-Body to have a power passenger seat. Can someone prove me wrong? Power lumbar only doesn't count btw...

 

Since the OP question has been answered perhaps i can ask another PMD question without making a new thread.

I have the opportunity to buy a set of PMD seats for $100...I'm guessing I should jump all over them? Don't know the rarity of these seats but they look to be in decent shape.

 

I would lol check out the prices on ebay. Where near us is selling a set of PMD's? you wouldnt believe how much searching I had to do to find mine. Still had to drive an hour and a half to pick em up.

 

You need to decide why you want the PMD seats. If it is just to resell the seats you need to decide if you want to deal with shipping the seats. People as CRAZY prices for these seats but they are readily available for $300-$400 shipped.

 

Wow...I found a set for sale here in Plant City. What shape is the set you bought in? The ones I may be picking up just have wear from getting in and out on the driver bolster. No rips or tears though. Picking them up tomorrow for $80. That includes a solid back seat and a split back seat.

Also, is there anything special about the rear seats or are they the same as the regular seats?

Rare, I can see what you mean by asking crazy prices. $499 is the cheapest I see on ebay and every set on there is in terrible shape.
