I've been shopping for new carpet and I'm a little lost when it comes to picking out the color. The original carpet is a light gray but it's not that easy, every vendor that I've looked at has more than a few choices of gray. How can I determine exactly what color gray I need.

 

Some vendors will send u a color samples, match it on a covered area like under console where there would not be faded spots for match, or get black, best wishes

 

Or you can just check your RPO codes for the correct color.

 

I didnt even think about checking my rpo codes, my interior is dark medium gray, thanks mantaguy

 

 

Will a replacement come this and what is that strip for anyway?

 

Probably not. It's there to keep the striker that latches the back of the top to the tonneau cover from tearing up the carpet when the top is down.

 

Bummer, maybe the old piece comes off fairly easy.
