Throttle sticking?

Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 3.73
Throttle sticking?
on my 95LT1/T56 swap into a 91 Z28. Car drives fine otherwise, but when you floor it, the throttle sticks wide open. Definitely not the safest situation...... I can normally blip the throttle and it'll come back down. Using the stock throttle cable from the 91 Z28.
Perhaps thats the problem?
Ran it at the track last night and only managed a 14.8...... *ugh* Car was faster with the 305/5 spd that came out of it.
