Pics of the LS1 installed.
Finally had enough time over the holidays to get real busy on the swap. Everything in the engine bay is done, just got to swap the tanks and she should be running.
Engine received a Cheater cam/spring package, LS6 intake, LS6 PCV system, LS6 oil pump. It's sitting on a Hawk's crossmember and I'm using all the 4th gen wiring including the coolant and washer tanks. I've still got to remount my AC dryer closer to the front like the 4th gen and then get some custom AC lines made up.
I've got the 4th gen body wiring in place, but none of the interior is in. All essential components are integrated, so once I get fuel I should be up and running (just not moving as the whole front suspension is still out in the driveway)

I was all ready doing the dash/doors from a 93 TA when I picked up the 2000 z28 parts car. Figured it was easier to just swap everything rather then interface the engine harnes to the old body harness and interface that to the dash pieces. I'm even keeping VATS, turns out my 92 key and my 2000 key have the same resistor! That's about the only lucky thing that's happened so far.

Looks like your not running a AFPR?
Clean install, looks nice.
Let me know when you get the steering on the hawks k-member, I'd be interested in seeing detailed pics of the passenger side tie-rod as mine doesnt clear, and Bruce has no clue why

Im also running a complete 4th gen swap, and plastic tank. How did you go about with the fuel system? what was the layout? pics would be great if you have them.

Yup, running the 4th gen tank and dumped the EVAP line.
As far as how I hooked it up, I'll let you know. I've got to get the front down before I can get the back up. As far as I've read, you unscrew the line going into the 3rd gen filter and thread it into the 'T' that's after the 4th gen filter.
Steven:
I know my passenger control arm is hitting the main tube like I think yours was. It's not too bad with the arm compressed like normal, but I think I'm still going to have to clearance it a bit. The steering is close, but should work. My center-link had stripped out and I just got a new one today. I'll let you know how it works out fully seated and I'll snap some pics.
On a side note, how are your control arm bushings sitting? Mine had a varying degree of gaps between them and the crossmember. A lot tightened up, but I think one has more of a V-shape bend and isn't making contact with the bushing at the top.

Yeah, the way the A-Arms attach is horrible.
You first put them in, and there is gap on both sides, so you tighten down the bolts and the gap goes away, but then you can't move the a-arms anymore.
I ended up backing the bolt out, and putting washers in between the a-arm and mount, then tightening back down until there was just a little gap between the mounts, washers, and a-arm.
Also, the front of the a-arm rubs the support tube, I can see a black line where the a-arm is taking off the powdercoating.
I like hawks, but this k-member isnt all that great......I wish it fit better.

Well she runs!!! It took a while to figure out that there are two jumpers needed from the old auto shifter (I went to a T56). One grounds the P/N circuit for the PCM (I knew that one), the other completes the starter relay circuit (took an hour to track that down). After that it cranked right up with no leaks!
As far as the tank connections, it was as easy as it seemed, 4th gen T and filter ran right to the 3rd gen pressure line..
I've got to grease the front suspension up and I'll snag some pics of the steering clearance for you Steven.
