My LT1 Swap VIDEO!!!

We finally got the video together that we made during my LT1 swap. My chief mechanic was also the camera man and editor. Thanks for all those who helped out, especially Klortho whos wiring advise made things 1000 times easier. Comments welcome,

funny video

On a side note... where did you get those firebird wheels with inner parts painted blue???

I'm only asking because as a LONG time thirdgenner I believe I was the first to make wheels just like that, few years back I sold my polished blue wheels locally in MA so I'm really curious if you just did the same thing or if my wheels traveled around the country and ended up on your car

My wheels came with the car when i got it a year ago. I believe they were colormatched last time the car was repainted(i'm going to guess 4-5 years ago) The paint is peeling slightly on the wheels in a few areas, and they are stock grey under the blue. The silver finish is factory too, never has been polished.

I used the stock LT1 harness and just spliced it in with the factory dash wiring

The video encumpases about 3 weeks time. The physical swap took only a few days. The rest was "details." It was in January, so most of it was spend on single digit days(Brrr....). I'd take texas heat over WI cold any day of the week
