If you use swap mounts on the chassis side that use the LS1 engine side mounts, then you should be able to use solid engine side mounts http://www.summitracing.com/parts/UPI-0051/

except from what i understand the way the motor mounts mount on the engine and cradle they are reversed from what they are on gen1 blocks so that would not work because the clam shell mounts to the frame stock but then when u swap a lsx in there its on the engine so if u buy the swap mounts the ones u showed woul dhave to mount on the engine and those do not look like they will work..

Correct, those would mount on the engine. They replace the clamshell that mounts on the f-body LS1. That's why they'd work. With 3rd gen LS1 swap mounts on the crossmember (which "normally" mate with the factory clamshell on the engine), these will slid into the "U" bracket instead of the clamshell, you slip the long bolt through both, and you're mounted up.

You might be right. Gotta be something out there.

They don't exist, you should give up now, your project is doomed.

If you used the swap mount plates that allow Gen I/II engine side mounts on Gen III, you could use those solid mounts on the chassis side.

Assuming you aren't using a tubular LS1 swap cross member.

Re: Solid engine mounts

Soooooo... why not make your own? Couple rolls of duct tape and a decently thick piece of cardboard should work for the amount of HP you'll be putting down.
